LCYBS Member Board Meeting

September 25, 2024, 6:00 PM

Hartland Public Library (Ice Age Trail Room)

(This meeting is open to all LCYBS members. In order to ensure appropriate room and speaking time for those wishing to attend, please RSVP at: https://forms.gle/BcwsRGegc665BcQHA)

LCYBS Will Soon be Arrowhead Youth Baseball & Softball

To better align with the residency of the vast majority of those we serve, the LCYBS Board recently approved changing our organization's name from Hartland Youth Baseball (DBA Lake Country Youth Baseball and Softball) to Arrowhead Youth Baseball and Softball.

While our organization will still invite anyone interested in learning about, and having fun playing, baseball and softball into our programs - including those who reside outside the Arrowhead school district, the reality is the vast majority of those we serve reside within, or enroll into, the Arrowhead school district. As such, the Board decided changing our name to Arrowhead Youth Baseball and Softball was a prudent move to not only better explain who we are, but also make our organization easier to find for new families.

We will be slowing changing our website, Facebook and emails from LCYBS to AYBS in the coming months, with the plan to have the full implementation to AYBS by the start of 2025.

Be on the lookout for the new AYBS logo and an AYBS apparel store in the coming months.

ARROWHEAD BASEBALL BEGINS THE FIELD OF DREAMS CAMPAIGN!

As you may have heard, Arrowhead recently announced their Field of Dreams campaign. THE GOAL, to build an INDOOR TRAINING FACILITY to be home to Arrowhead’s baseball and softball programs during our cold Wisconsin winters and rainy spring days.

Arrowhead’s non-profit Diamond Club is looking to build a privately funded 3,000 square-foot indoor turf training facility with room for hitting, infield, pitching, weight training, and speed and agility workouts. This “Field of Dreams” will ensure our area’s sons and daughters have the best opportunity to succeed and continue Arrowhead’s winning tradition.
